Turnitin Integration

This week’s Essential Tip & Trick will review both the teacher and student Turnitin experience within dialogEDU.

Individuals enrolled into a course with the Teacher role will be able to view the Assignment Inbox on the front-end from within the course. When using Turnitin for assignments, teachers do NOT access the Inbox from the grade book.

To enable the Turnitin Assignment Dashboard area for students, you will need to go into the Assignment and define the assignment specifics.

Once the Assignment Settings have been configured, students will be able to access the Turnitin Assignment Dashboard from the Assignment learning object on their course outline and upload their paper into the Dashboard.

Accessing the Inbox from the front end view (on the course outline), teachers will be able to provide feedback and grade the assignment.

Graded assignments will transfer into the dialogEDU gradebook.
