Apply Payment options to Programs, Courses, and Events via the Stripe integration

Part I: Setup your account with Stripe https://stripe.com/ and obtain integration Keys for dialogEDU.

Part II: Configure the integration at the Account level in dialogEDU

a. Go to the Account Level
b. Click on Settings
c. Select Account
d. Scroll down* and Insert your Strip Keys into the fields Stripe Publishable Key and Stripe Secret Key
e. Click Save to finish

Part III: Setup Programs, Courses, and Events with payment

1. Programs: Setting up a payment gateway at the Program level means that upon successful purchase of the Program, Learners will become automatically enrolled into ALL Courses within the Program.

For example, purchase of the Professional Development Program, below will unlock the (3) courses outlined in teal for the Learner.

2. Courses: Setting up a payment gateway at the Course level means that upon successful purchase of the Course (at the Courses page), Learners will become enrolled into the course automatically.

Please note: if you wish to charge for courses at the course level, then you cannot also charge for those same courses if they are associated with Programs. Courses associated with a program must be paid for at the Program level, and would not available “al la carte.”

Bonus Tip: Remember that using the Enable Targeting option, you can allow for segmented audiences to be able to view a catalog of courses available via payment.

3. Events: Setting up a payment gateway for an event, means that upon successful purchase of the Event, that the purchaser will become Confirmed or marked as RSVP’d for the Event.
