Embedding YouTube videos in your Presentation Objects
The video tutorial demonstrating how to embed YouTube videos in your Presentation Objects can be viewed to the right. Click the icon to the right of the volume control to view full screen.
Step by step directions can be found below.
Step 1: Click on the Share button below the video to access the embed tab.
Step 2: First, you will need to review the display and size settings (outlined in orange below the video preview). Next, copy the Embed code (highlighted above the video preview) onto your clipboard.
Step 3: Navigate to the back-end of your site.
Step 4: Click on Applications and select Courses.
Step 5: Select Repository from the Courses drop-down menu.
Step 6: Click the +NEW LEARNING OBJECT button, select the Presentation learning object from the drop-down menu.
Step 7: Add a Name, Description, and Category if applicable and click Save.
Step 8: After you have added a title to your slide. Locate and click on the video player icon button in the editor toolbar, shown below to prompt the Insert Video dialog box.
Step 9: Now, paste your video embed code into the dialog box and click Insert.
Step 10: Center your video by using the center text button in the editor and click Save.
Step 11: To preview your presentation slide click on the gear icon drop-down menu and select View.
This is how your video will render inside of the presentation learning object.
